With your decision to proceed we will furnish a pre installation document explaining the installation procedure and quality expectations, a notice to proceed including a description of the project and the prices and terms. You will also receive a copy of our certificates of insurance and any permits or licenses required. At this time samples may be installed.

After the installation we will provide you with a completely filled out warranty, invoice and care and maintenance document. The information and warranty will explain in detail the material characteristics and cure time.

The Material:

 Window film is produced by a number of manufactures for a number of reasons. The material has evolved into a recognized alternative as well as acceptable retro fit to upgrade existing windows and glass. The material is a polyester film with an adhesive backing. The adhesive adheres to the glass providing additional performance properties to the window. Window film has been mainly used for sun control. The material will reject certain percentages of infra red light, eliminate ultra violet light and reduce visible light or glare.

            Window film was originally invented to provide a retro fit laminate to provide protection from glass fragmentation in the event of explosion, projectiles, wind and weather as well as vandalism and human or animal impact. Today safety and security film has become extremely significant material and is becoming widely accepted as an alternative for safety and security.

            Technology has injected high tech window films made using nano-ceramic technology and clear film that eliminates the heat and allows visible light to transmit. The ultimate material at this point is film that will eliminate ultra violet light, and reduce infra red heat but allow visible light to transmit and is made with the safety and security properties.

Window Film Features and Benefits & Uses:

1)      Sun Control: Tinting reduces solar heat gain by reflecting infra red away. This reduction of heat reduces energy consumption. Reduced electricity consumption reduces energy expenses as well as wear and tear on cooling equipment. Window film will pay for itself with reduced energy consumption and then provide years of savings.

2)      Tenant comfort: Reduced heat to outside offices allows for reduction of hot and cold spots.

3)      Glare Control: The reduction of visible light provides reduction of harsh light known as glare. Computer screens and other electronic media are easier to see and people are more productive.

4)      Ultra violet light elimination: Window film eliminates harmful UV rays. Fading and sun rot are caused by UV light. Ultra violet light has been identified as the major cause of skin cancer. The skin cancer foundation has recognized window film as beneficial in protecting skin from damage.

5)      Aesthetics: Windows with certain types of window film will take on a reflective look. With all the windows tinted buildings take on a more uniform look adding to the aesthetics of the building. From the out side “window clutter” (computers, desks, blinds, drapes etc) is eliminated.

6)      Safety and Security: Security film is regarded as a way to provide added protection to windows and glass. Safety window film is used in areas of risk from terror explosion attacks, severe weather, and earth quake. Security window film also is used to deter vandalism, smash and grab theft and burglary. The material is also used for home security.

7)      Graffiti Deterrent: The manufactures produce clear film with an easy to remove adhesive. Installed, the film is virtually undetectable. When this is applied to vulnerable areas of glass or stainless steel the graffiti vandal scathes or etches the film and not the surface. Removal and replacement of the film is much less money then replacing or repairing the original surface.

8)      Interior Glass Graphics: Window film is used too produce glass graphics to interior windows and glass. The material installed looks like sand blasted or etched glass. The material can be laid out in any design as well as logos, trademarks or personal design can be created. The material is much lower cost than sand blasting and can be removed, if desired, leaving the original glass.
